large chemical company needs a Reliability Engineer to manage a reliability engineering efforts in a large multi-unit chemical operation.
Key:
- Mechanical, chemical or similar engineering degree
- Must have experience with reliability in chemical manufacturing
A more experienced candidate can be considered for a more senior position with more responsibilities and higher compensation
Info:
- Manage reliability engineering within an integrated Reliability Engineering Engineering (RCM) program
- Work with a wide array of pumps/rotating equipment, reactors/reaction vessels, etc
- In charge of Root Cause Analysis // Failure Analysis within reliability group
- Extensive work with Mechanical Integrity manager
- Rigorous statistical analysis of systems as part of RCM
- Classic/"usual" things like managing NDT, vibration, etc
- Extensive work with capital projects, turnarounds, etc, to ensure optimal results for these projects
- Key part of asset management team
- As this is an integral technical part of the operation, promotional opportunities are in maintenance/reliability management, ops, and senior engineering areas at this site or others.
Requirements:
- 4 year degree in mechanical, chemical or similar engineering
- at least 3-4 years of experience in reliability and/or mechanical maintenance engineering in a major chemical, petrochemical or refining operations
- Used to/willing to be in an active chemical manufacturing operation.
Salary is "over $120,000" = highly dependent on experience. Relocation available
