Catalytic Converter Buyer - Recycling- Base Salary to 85k/year - Miami, FL

• Our client has a newly opened facility and is seeking a Catalytic Converter Buyer (internally titled Bilingual Catalytic Converter Buyer) to help drive purchasing operations and support the growing metals program. The Catalytic Converter Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing catalytic converters, loading and transporting material, and ensuring accurate delivery to the warehouse for sorting, packaging, and shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase catalytic converters from suppliers, customers, and field contacts.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat and new business.
  
• Load purchased converters safely into company truck.
  
• Transport purchased material back to the warehouse for sorting and packaging.
  
• Ensure accurate documentation of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  
• Collaborate with the warehouse team on material flow and shipment schedules.
  
• Maintain awareness of market pricing and trends in catalytic converters and metals.
  
• Represent the company professionally with strong customer service and communication skills.
  
• Follow all safety protocols during purchasing, loading, and driving operations.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish & English is required.
  
• Sales experience is required - preferably in field buying, automotive, recycling, or related sectors.
  
• Background in metals or catalytic converters is a strong plus.
  
• Ability to lift and load material into the truck daily (moderate physical labor required).
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport quickly.

Compensation:

• This positions offers a base salary of up to 85k/year plus bonus. Our client also offers medical, dental & vision benefits, as well as 401k.
