    Position: Senior SCCM Engineer / Senior Workplace Engineer

    Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

    Location: Dallas, Hybrid 

    We're searching for a seasoned SCCM Engineer or Senior Workplace Engineer with expertise in leadership and architecture, with the option of experience in Tanium systems. Previously focusing on laptops and desktops mobility, we now require someone capable of configuring within this domain. This role involves facilitating a smooth transition from SCCM to Tanium if applicable. Additionally, you'll mentor Level 2 technicians supporting users in a hybrid work setup, with three days onsite (Tuesday to Thursday) and remote work for the rest of the week

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead the migration from SCCM to Tanium if applicable for 500 end users across multiple domains, including setting up security and compliance policies and integrating software deployment with our ITSM platform.
    • Manage workplace transformation by defining and overseeing technical landscape, technology strategy, and architecture for the End User Compute (EUC) environment.
    • Ensure delivery of desktop management best practices and agile methodologies for Windows desktop and device management.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solution architecture aligned with company needs and culture.
    • Design strategic roadmap for technology lifecycle and standards in Desktop Engineering, serving as a senior advisor and mentor for team members.
    • Build, test, and deploy desktop and laptop image profiles, optimizing deployment methodologies for efficiency.
    • Streamline Unified Endpoint Management Program by harmonizing disparate processes among Desktop Management, Mobile Management, and Virtual Desktops.
    • Engage with manufacturers and vendors to understand device and service offerings, providing feedback on new desktop management opportunities.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong project management, presentation, and planning skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
    • Excellent organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
    • Sound understanding of ITIL framework and principles.
    • Commitment to Change Management and customer satisfaction.

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 7 years administering SCCM and Tanium environments for software deployment, patching, and OS deployment.
    • At least 5 years of experience with Intune for mobile clients and Windows devices.
    • Experience migrating SCCM software packages to Tanium or building new packages.
    • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting policy deployments in GPOs and Intune.
    • Expertise in Microsoft LAPS, Box, and troubleshooting software and OSD installation issues.
    • Familiarity with technologies such as Box, Citrix, Horizon, VMWare, O365, OneDrive, Teams, Yammer, SharePoint, and Exchange preferred.
    • Preferred experience integrating software deployment with ITSM tools like Service Now.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in CIS, MIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
    • Relevant professional Microsoft certifications preferred.

    Rate:

    • $60/hr W2
