Job Description:
As a General Laborer at Catapult Solutions Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our construction sites. Your responsibilities will include general clean-up tasks, trash pick-up, and setting up protective materials to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Trash Pick-Up: Regularly collect and dispose of construction debris and trash to maintain a clean work site.
\- General Clean-Up: Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure the site is safe and orderly, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
\- Poly Protection Set-Up: Install poly protection sheets to safeguard specific areas from dust, debris, and damage during construction activities.
\- Flooring Protection Set-Up: Lay down protective materials over flooring to prevent damage from heavy equipment, spills, and foot traffic.
\- Material Handling: Assist in the loading, unloading, and moving of construction materials as directed.
\- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
\- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
\- Support Tasks: Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople as needed, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
Qualifications:
\- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
\- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
\- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and proper set-up of protective materials.
\- Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety guidelines.
\- Team Player: Ability to work well with others and take direction from supervisors and skilled tradespeople.
\- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Education:
\- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
