Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a critical role in enhancing product and process quality. Reporting to the VP of Technical Services, this position involves optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities include maintaining our ISO 9001 Quality Management System, leading corrective action initiatives, and fostering continuous improvement. Collaboration with departments such as R&D, Production, and QC Lab is key to meeting our stringent quality requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Lead annual Management Review Meetings and 8D Corrective/Preventive Action reports.
• Evaluate customer returns with R&D, Production, and QC Lab teams to improve product quality.
• Participate in supplier evaluations and customer audits, maintaining specific product specifications.
• Manage internal ISO 9001 audits and monthly Quality Control meetings.
• Technical writing for company procedures, work instructions, and reports.
• Develop the Quality team and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Required Experience/Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Over 10 years in Quality Control / Manufacturing and Management.
• Expertise in ISO 9001 Quality System.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of national/international consensus quality standards.

Teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
