Job Description

This person will thrive on our global team as a Network Engineer with expertise in SD-WAN solutions, Network Access Control (NAC) and LAN technologies, and the basic knowledge of Zscaler and Azure networking for our Global IT team located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will provide engineering solutions researching unique scenarios and providing level three engineering solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, building, and running one or more global network services.
• The focus will be on the operations of our current SD-WAN, Network Access Control (NAC), and LAN infrastructures with additional touch points on SASE (Zscaler) and Azure Networking.
• As a secondary responsibility, you will help us with the comparison of vendors, testing of vendor products, and pilot phases of implementing new vendors for these product lines.
• Your overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to, roadmap definition, architecture design, implementation, and 3rd Level incident/problem management.
• In close collaboration with other Hilti cross-functional IT teams, vendors, and external partners, you will provide innovative and reliable services – enabling our employees to connect to our customers and to offer excellent solutions and services to our customers worldwide.

  
  

  Required Experience/Skills

• Ideally 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing enterprise-wide, SD-WAN, Network Access Control (NAC), and LAN
• A strong security mindset and understanding of network security best practices, standards, and processes.
• Strong analytical skills with an affinity for IT technologies including in-depth understanding of standard networking and security protocols.
• Excitement for new technologies, great learning ability & willingness
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reliable and value-creating technical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and team skills in an international environment

Pay

W2 hourly rate range: $53.48 - $58.61/hr.
