    This is a full-time on-site role based in Des Moines, IA. The analyst will work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day. Out of state candidates are welcome to apply and will receive a $59/day per diem along with reimbursement for airfare and hotel costs.

They are now seeking an EMS Analyst to support the management of their intricate grid and ensure seamless power delivery through state-of-the-art monitoring and control systems.     Job Description

    The EMS Analyst will be responsible for managing the EMS/SCADA system and databases that control our client's electrical grid. This includes developing processes, troubleshooting issues, maintaining the training simulator, and exchanging data with third-party systems. The analyst will partner with IT and field operations teams to optimize monitoring and control of power assets.     Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage EMS/SCADA databases and interfaces used to operate the electrical grid
    • Create and maintain one-line diagrams to visualize real-time system conditions
    • Review RTU-to-SCADA integration and recommend improvements
    • Troubleshoot EMS/SCADA problems and coordinate maintenance/upgrades
    • Maintain compliance with reliability and security standards
    • Support EMS/SCADA training simulator and curriculum
    • Manage data exchange with third-party systems and resolve issues
    • Document processes to maintain accurate network data

    Required Experience

    • Experience with EMS/SCADA systems analysis and development
    • Knowledge of EMS/SCADA platforms and supporting applications
    • Understanding of electrical utility operations
    • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and outages
    • Attention to detail and process documentation skills
    • Project management and collaboration abilities

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Background in the energy industry
    • Familiarity with MEC standards
    • Interest in critical infrastructure technology

    Pay & Benefits

    • $65/hour
