Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing our cutting-edge platforms and infrastructure. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative features and microservices, contributing to our mission of disrupting the retail industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand Platform, Consumer Platform, and Influencer Platform, to solve complex problems and create scalable solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on interesting problems, drive improvements, and lead in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Architect and design high availability/fault tolerant systems for transaction processing.
• Develop scalable applications and API endpoints.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with tests.
• Lead projects and drive tasks to completion.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical problem-solving sessions.
• Conduct peer design/code reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies for performance and scalability.

Required Experience/Skills

• Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in guiding teams.
• Expertise in software design/architecture.
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages, especially Golang and Python.
• Experience with AWS services and deploying cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with GoLang, PHP, C/++, shell scripting.
• Knowledge of the retail domain or affiliate marketing.
