    CATAPULT SOLUTIONS is currently hiring a ENERGY SERVICES SALES REPRESENTATIVE preferably located in HOUSTON, TX to join our team.

    DESCRIPTION:

    Reporting to the General Manager, the job of the Energy Services Sales Representative is to establish key contacts among assigned and potential clients, keeping well informed of development plans of existing clients.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The responsibilities of the Energy Services Sales Representative include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintain and develop existing and new clients through appropriate proposals and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
    • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate development of profitable business & sustainable relationships.
    • Manage full sales cycle from initial contact through to close of the sale.
    • Address client inquiries and quoting prices in a prompt and accurate manner.
    • Maximize use of technology and communication to effectively track key sales and account information.
    • Increase sales volume through direct sales efforts, such as cold calling on key clients, preparing quotes and proposals and with follow-ups.
    • Assist in product pricing and logistics with sales and operations management.
    • Develop and maintain how sales targets will be met on a quarterly basis.
    • Lead the development of account plans and opportunity pursuit plans.
    • Keep management aware of key account status through scheduled, detailed reports.
    • Participate as a vital team member, and contribute towards the success of the organization, which may involve the provision of other technical and administrative support, as required.
    • Collaborate with any project teams on other special initiatives, as required.
    • Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Technical degree or diploma; preferred.
    • Minimum 3 - 5 years of industry related experience; required.
    • Experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • High energy, with extensive related market knowledge.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication amongst clients and management.
    • Excellent prospecting, presentation and closing skills.
    • Comfortable with large groups of people, and speaking in public.
    • Work with other teams, and exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills with all levels.
    • High level of efficiency & work ethic.
    • Ability to handle stressful situations.
    • Excellent problem solving skills required.
    • Willing and able to travel throughout North America
    • Successful candidates are required to have personal reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
