Job Summary
The Catering Manager will be responsible for designing, launching, and managing the restaurant’s new catering operations. This includes menu development, client management, logistics coordination, staffing, and quality control. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
Responsibilities:
Develop and price catering menu offerings aligned with our brand and market demand.
Build operational systems for catering orders, including workflows for prep, delivery, and setup.
Manage all incoming catering inquiries, bookings, proposals, and client relationships.
Coordinate with the kitchen and FOH teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Recruit, train, and schedule staff for catering events.
Oversee food packaging, transport, and on-site presentation.
Promote catering services through digital marketing, local outreach, and community events.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards during transport and service.
Track and report on catering sales, costs, and customer feedback.
Continuously improve processes based on performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in catering, events, or restaurant management.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience launching or scaling food service operations is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and catering logistics.
Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings as needed.
Valid driver’s license (for on-site coordination or delivery, if applicable).
