The Heritage Hotel Golf, Spa, and Conference Center is hiring an energetic Catering Sales Manager. The catering sales manager drives revenue by selling catering services, which include finding new and repeat clients, negotiating contracts, and developing proposals. They also coordinate event logistics, manage client relationships, and oversee staff, menu planning, and budgeting to ensure successful and profitable events. Responsibilities: Sales and client relations • Prospection and sales: Finds new clients through networking and promotional activities and works to upsell services to maximize revenue. • Client management: Builds and maintains relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact from initial consultation to post-event follow-up. • Negotiation and contracts: Negotiates prices and drafts detailed contracts for clients to secure business. • Event planning: Works with clients to plan menus, set up room layouts, and coordinate service details. • Proposals and proposals: Creates detailed proposals and event orders that align with client needs. Operations and management • Staff management: Hires, trains, and manages catering and service staff, and creates work schedules. • Logistics and coordination: Coordinates with kitchen, service, and banquet teams to ensure seamless execution of events. • Budget and finance: Manages event budgets, controls costs, and monitors stock and finances. • Event execution: May provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly. Marketing and development • Marketing: Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies to attract new customers. • Market research: Conducts market analysis to identify business opportunities. • Site inspections: Performs site visits and tastings to help clients visualize their events. Qualifications: • Prior catering sales experience preferred. • Resort experience is ideal but not required. • Upbeat personality. Compensation: $55,000
