The Hotel Catering Sales Manager is responsible for booking and coordinating food, beverage, and event space for weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings. Apply today. Responsibilities: • Sales & Prospecting: Solicit and book local corporate, social, and SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal) catering business. Conduct site tours, manage inbound leads, and close deals. • Event Planning & BEOs: Translate client needs into detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and function sheets. Work with the culinary and operational teams to finalize menus, room layouts, and timelines. • Revenue Optimization: Meet or exceed personal and hotel sales goals. Upsell food, beverage, and audiovisual enhancements while negotiating room rentals and minimum food and beverage spends. • Client & Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. Coordinate with outside vendors (e.g., florists, decorators). Qualifications: • Prior catering sales experience. • Marriott experience ideal but not required. • Upbeat personality. Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
