Pay: $68-$72 per hour
Cath Lab Rad Tech. RT/CVT. STEMI On Call required. 13 weeks. 7 - 3 plus on call. Dayshift. Required Radiology License (Cardiovascular tech with no Radiology License not accepted). Shifts would be 7-15.30/ 5 days a week.
Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist is responsible for assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures using fluoroscopic imaging. This role involves ensuring patient safety, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a sterile field in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform fluoroscopic imaging during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Assist physicians and clinical teams in cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
Position patients appropriately for procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural details accurately.
Maintain a sterile field and assist with supplies, medications, and catheters.
Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency cases as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
Job Requirements:
Active ARRT Certification (R) – CI or VI certification preferred.
State Radiologic Technologist License (if applicable).
Fluoroscopy Permit (if required by state regulations).
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications.
Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and sterile techniques.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
