Cath Lab Technologist (Radiology / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Location: Dallas, TX Employment Type: Full-Time | Day Shift | 4x10s | Rotating Weekday Off
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cath Lab Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence throughout all phases of care.
You will work in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment performing a variety of cases, including structural heart procedures, vascular interventions, left heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, and electrophysiology studies.
Schedule
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Work Days: 4x10s with rotating weekday off
On-Call: Required after hours and weekends (8–9 days per month, 1 weekend per month)
Holiday Call: 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year
Call Response Time: Within 30 minutes of notification
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures.
Prepare procedure rooms and maintain equipment readiness.
Provide patient instruction, monitoring, and emergency care as needed.
Support the orientation and training of new team members.
Participate in daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control audits and reporting.
Qualifications
Education:
Associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience above the minimum qualification.
Experience:
Less than 1 year of experience required.
Radiology Technologists with operating room experience in a hospital setting are encouraged to apply.
Certifications (Required/Preferred):
BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
Must meet one of the following:
ARRT-R (Radiography) and Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT – TX Medical Board)
RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
RCES – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
CEPS – Certified Electrophysiology Specialist
CCDS – Certified Cardiac Device Specialist
