    Pay: $68-$72 per hour

    Position Summary:

    The Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and radiologic procedures. This position involves preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring high-quality imaging to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angiography, stent placements, embolization, and other IR procedures.

    Assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures by handling sterile instruments, catheters, and guidewires.

    Operate fluoroscopy, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and other specialized imaging equipment safely and efficiently.

    Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details accurately.

    Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.

    Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and medications required for the lab.

    Prepare contrast media and ensure appropriate administration under supervision. Perform equipment quality assurance checks and report malfunctions promptly.

    Collaborate closely with nursing, radiology, and cardiology staff for optimal patient care.

    Provide post-procedural care assistance and monitor patients as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

    Certification/Licensure:

    Current ARRT (R) or RCIS or equivalent certification.

    State Radiologic Technologist License (if applicable).

    Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

    Experience:

    Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting preferred.
