    Private Christian Preschool - Cathedral Preschool is hiring! Responsibilities: • Provide the basic needs for children • Provide the tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities • Adapt the teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents • Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks, and meals Qualifications: • A Minimum requirement of a High School diploma, although a BA degree is preferred • Previous work experience of at least 6 months in a licensed childcare facility is necessary • Willingness to obtain CPR and 1st Aid certification • Must complete 15 hours of continuing education classes per year • Ability to work well with others • Passion for teaching • Ready to have fun and make a positive impact Desired Skills and Experience: • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or willingness to obtain • Completion of 15 core ECE Units Infant/toddler or willingness to obtain • Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds and working indoors or outdoors • Ability to assume postures at low levels to ensure physical and visual contact with children • Excellent vision and hearing to ensure children's safety • Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English • Compliance with state-specific guidelines for the role Compensation: $18
