Saugatuck's Maplewood Hotel is a unique boutique hotel with a 150- year tradition of exceptional hospitality. Located on Butler Street in the heart of Saugatuck.

Innkeeper, Housekeeping positions available. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and available on weekends. All applicants must be comfortable working with the public and project an outgoing personality. Customer service is key to serving our guests needs.

Innkeeper: Computer knowledge is required to input reservations and sending confirmation letters in addition to phone skills represent a daily portion of the work. Candidate must gain a quick knowledge of the area to recommend places to go and eat. It would be beneficial if the employee has light cooking skills as a breakfast is served each morning. Serving breakfast is also part of the job. Culinary students may also want to apply.

Housekeeping entails the cleaning of rooms, common areas and outdoor patio. Laundry includes washing of towels and some bedding. Housekeeping staff may also be asked to serve breakfast.

As the Maplewood Hotel is a small facility employees jobs often interchange. All staff must be flexible to meet the needs of the hotel so it runs smoothly.
