Benefits: • Access to Paid CPR and First Aid training • Outstanding corporate culture! • Employee Referral bonus • Flexible work schedule Responsibilities: • Support the Executive Director in creating a secure, inclusive, and positive environment for all staff, families, and kids • Encourage and serve as a role model to other teachers • Craft and implement lesson plans for the Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classes • Lead the team in developing and maintaining clear objectives that contribute to top-notch instruction • Assist with additional classroom activities such as free play, breaks, lunchtime, and rest periods • Interact with children to facilitate their play, exploration, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development • Collaborate with other teachers to create an inviting and nurturing learning space • Stay in touch with families through informal conversations • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the classroom • Have the capability to perform a variety of motions such as lifting, squatting, reaching, sitting, and climbing • Convey potential issues in a timely and effective way • Attend staff and training meetings Qualifications: • Demonstrate an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices • Possess prior experience teaching in a childcare, preschool, or kindergarten setting • Hold a Bachelor's degree and have taken courses in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Recent graduates with a passion for making an impact in the field of early childhood education are encouraged to apply • Possess a caring, nurturing, patient, and creative personality • Show a willingness to foster a productive and enjoyable learning atmosphere through positive team-focused goal-setting • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills • Have a passion for working in a diverse and inclusive culture Compensation: $20 hourly
