    Job Description

    Marketing Associate, Integrated Marketing is responsible for the implementation, execution, optimization, and measurement of integrated marketing communications across the Foster Farms portfolio. Support the marketing director to deliver full-funnel marketing plans to build brand equity and drive sales, across paid, owned and earned media.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    ·         INTEGRATED MARKETING CAMPAIGNS: Execute integrated marketing communications plans and campaigns across key channels including digital, social media, search, CRM, shopper, e-commerce, and partnerships. 

    ·         CAMPAIGN PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Coordinate and execute integrated marketing plans, from in-flight optimizations to post-campaign analysis.

    ·         CREATIVE & CONTENT: Support marketing director with paid, owned and earned content plans, working with external agency partners and internal creative teams to develop creative that supports business goals. Manage owned media content including website, e-commerce, and social media.

    ·         COLLABORATION: Work with brand marketing, creative, sales, and external agency partners to align and execute marketing programs to achieve business goals.

    ·         COMMUNICATION: Responsible for sharing campaign plans and results internally, including ongoing updates and details in support of any customer meetings.

    ·         MEASUREMENT & INSIGHTS: Support with post-campaign analysis, identifying key learnings, insights, and measure effectiveness against KPIs to take for future campaigns, presenting results to marketing and sales teams. Support with measure always-on performance of owned media channels.

    ·         BOOKKEEPING: Maintain a good record of campaign spend and budget.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    MINIMUM:

    ·         2-5 years’ experience, or equivalent exposure.

    ·         BA or BS in Advertising/Marketing, or equivalent degree.

    ·         Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with internal teams and external vendors.

    ·         Working knowledge and real-world experience in executing marketing plans, primarily in digital, social media, shopper, e-commerce, and promotions.

    ·         Strong project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects and operational success.

    ·         Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving. Requires initiative and drive to create efficiencies.

    ·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical ability and comfort with varied datasets to guide decision making. PowerBI experience a plus.

    ·         Website content management experience (WordPress).

    ·         Search engine marketing experience, organic and paid.

    ·         Demonstrate analytical experience: Google Analytics, Nielsen or IRI syndicated data.

    ·         Social media management, and social listening experience (Sprout Social).

    ·         Consumer and marketplace awareness, with strong external orientation.

    ·         Strategic, critical thinker who will take ownership of marketing tactics, while still having big picture thinking, ensuring tactics align with overall business goals.

    ·         Proactive and adaptable problem-solver who can take action to improve and evolve programs & processes.

    ·         An optimistic "can do" attitude is important to be successful in this role.

     

    PREFERRED:

    ·         Experience working with creative & media agencies delivering integrated marketing campaigns.

    ·         Experience working with Consumer Packaged Goods or Food & Beverage brands.

    ·         Creative development experience, working with internal and external partners to develop effective creative. Copywriting experience a plus.

    ·         Experience with Product Information Management e-commerce tools.

    ·         Ability to influence through leadership skills and a challenger mindset that leverage collaboration with key stakeholders to overcome the inherent complexity of the work.

    ·         Ability to develop strong negotiation skills as both a strategic advisor and direct negotiator for a broad variety of services.

    ·         Ability to analyze and assess content, creative work and provide effective feedback.

    ·         Agility and resilience to overcome obstacles, react to changing marketplace conditions, and thrive in ambiguity.

     

    PHYSICAL:

    ·         Ability to travel as needed

    ·         Have or the ability to obtain a valid CA Driver’s License with reliable transportation for business travel

    ·         Consistent and reliable attendance

    ·         Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure situations
