POSITION OVERVIEWThe Chief Financial Officer works with our professional accounting staff and management team members in recording, reconciling, and auditing accounting data. Ability to efficiently manage workload and prioritize tasks to ensure that all deadlines are met. This role will be working with the current accountant and bookkeepers throughout the other divisions of Cava Companies. Responsibilities: • Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc., and present analysis in a clear manner. • Partnering with the Executive Team on all operational and strategic initiatives as they arise; providing strategic recommendations to the team based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, revenue/expense analysis, and risk and liabilities. • Partnering and articulation of banker relationships, auditors through the knowledge of corporate financing. • Participating in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the executive team. Providing relevant and appropriate business analytics to the leadership team so they may effectively manage their areas of responsibility and risk and be aligned with the financial management of the company. • Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. • Reporting financial results, business risks, budgets, and business strategies effectively to the Executive Team. Improve processes. • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance Management and Accounting functions of the organization including supporting marketing campaigns. • Overseeing the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and metrics; including budgets, forecasting, monthly and quarterly reports, along with the day-to-day accounting. • Managing cash flow and forecasting; directing all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting. • Ensuring the finance staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Overseeing business analytics and data management across multiple business functions including Sales and Marketing, using explanatory and predictive modeling and other analytical tools to drive fact-based decision making and managing business performance. • Analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. • Review and Analyze monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting. • Quarterly Reporting • Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests. • Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary. • Work hand-in-hand with CEO and Staff Accountants. You will be exposed to running a business from the financials. Qualifications: • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials, or a Master’s Degree is a plus • 5 to 7 years of CFO or Equivalent experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment • Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions • Ability to Review and Analyze Balance Sheet Financial Reports Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 yearly
