    JOB DESCRIPTION: 

    As a Sales Intern at Cavern Technologies, you will have the opportunity for Sales training and skills development.  The Sales Intern will provide support and collaborate with the Director of Sales. 

    Part Time during school year and additional hours possible in summer.

    JOB DUTIES: 

    Provide support for Director of Sales, including:

    • Researching qualified potential customers and stakeholders;
    • Assisting with customer relationship building through prospect and customer outreach in person, via phone and email;
    • Educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off of qualified leads to sales team;
    • Updating and maintaining accurate contact information in CRM (SalesForce);
    • Tracking and supporting local and regional workshops, events and conferences;
    • Presentation and tour support; and
    • Creating and posting social media updates for the sales team.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Collaborative with excellent communication skills
    • Self-starter with a commitment to professional development
    • Organizationally detailed with solid time management skills
    • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar)
    • Experience with lead generation and developing new prospects through outreach a plus
    • Event support experience a plus
    • SalesForce or similar CRM exposure a plus
    • Past sales experience a plus
    • Preferred majors or current field of study: sales, business, communication, entrepreneurial studies, marketing or an information technology field
