Health Care Technologist I - entry level to advanced level responsibilities **
Responsibilities include** :
Explaining procedures to the patient, preparation of the patient and preparing radiopaque contrast media such as barium enemas, barium swallows, intravenous pyelograms, cystograms, and gastro- intestinal series in a clinic or hospital setting. **
Health Care Technologist II** - advanced level or supervisory responsibilities
Responsibilities include: perform advanced clinical or anatomical laboratory testing, CT scan, MRI and invasive radiological procedures. S ample collection, microbiology, hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, immunohematology, histology, or cytology and tissue and slide preparation, and taking x-rays to clinical treatment.
