Cedar Park Med is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Medical Assistant certificate and at least one year of experience in Occupational Health. The Medical Assistant will participate in employee health and wellness safety fairs, including Family Day on a Saturday once a year to perform blood pressure screenings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer various tests associated with pre-employment/promotional/CDL examinations, fitness for duty evaluations, including EKGs, spirometry, vision testing, audiograms, phlebotomy, and vital signs.
• Perform annual physicals/exams.
• Enter test results into the online medical system daily.
• Assist physicians and nurses as needed.
• Prepare charts, labels, and other associated paperwork.
• Clean, maintain, and perform quality assurance checks on equipment daily.
• Ensure adequate supplies and restock patient rooms as necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Occupational Health.
• Certification through a nationally recognized organization.

Schedule:

• ****Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, except state holidays.
