Cedar Park Med is hiring CNA and Direct Service Associates (different levels of duty) for immediate openings.

Requirements:

• Must have and maintain a certification as a CNA in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Must have previous work experience in a geriatric and/or psychiatric work environment.
• BLS certification
• PPD and other applicable vaccines

Responsibilities:

• Observe, report, and document changes in the individual's physical and behavioral status, vital signs, weight, height, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and other data as assigned, to the RN Charge Nurse as required by and consistent with facility policy.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions that reflect knowledge of growth and development, Therapeutic Options training (will be provided if working in state facilities), and behavioral principles.

• Keep records, as required by and consistent with facility policy, for the development of behavioral interventions.

• Actively participate in the implementation of behavioral guidelines.

• Perform assignments according to facility policy and procedures related to duties of special observation.

• Accurately complete required documentation within established time frames (ADL notes, ADL flow sheets, and Treatment Administration Records (TARs).

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as assigned.

DSA On-site FT&PT $21 / Evening $23 / Nights & Weekend $24
