Cedar Park Med is hiring for Nurse Practitioners (entry and advanced levels) for immediate openings at the Depart of Corrections in VA's Western, Central, and Eastern Regions.

Responsibilities:

• Performing comprehensive physical examinations and preventive health measures, ordering and performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, and prescribing controlled substances and devices in accordance with current regulations.
• Applying knowledge of principles and practices of practical nursing and pharmacology acquired through formal education and training

Requirements

• Valid license
• CPR certification
• Current PPD test and other applicable vaccines
• Previous work within a correctional facility is preferred
