Cedar Park Med is hiring for Health Care Technicians for immediate openings for the Depart of Corrections in VA's Western, Central, and Eastern Regions.

The role encompasses radiologic technologist assistants or other clinical laboratory support assistants performing entry-level to assistant's duties.

Responsibilities include:

• S cheduling appointments, monitoring patient flow in a clinic or hospital setting, and either taking radiographs of the musculoskeletal system and developing and dispensing films or performing phlebotomy and a limited menu of diagnostic clinical tests under supervision.
• Collection of laboratory specimens and performing clinical laboratory tests such as hemoglobin, hematocrit, glucose, urine pregnancy, and urine dipsticks.

Requirements

• CPR certification
• Current PPD test and other applicable vaccines
• Previous work within a correctional facility is preferred
