    Cedar Park Med is seeking an LPN-Licensed Practical Nurses for immediate openings.

    Responsibilities:

    • ****Administers care that Is individualized and Is consistent with the plan of care and with standards of care/practice (Reports to RN any change in patient condition, administers medications, functions independently, within area of practice);
    • Demonstrates clinical skills for work area (completes unit specific skills/competencies;
    • Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development in the delivery of care;
    • Incorporates patient/family/significant other teaching into routine care under the direction of the RN;
    • Adjusts work routine to meet changing unit and patient conditions;
    • Fosters team building spirit (assist new staff members Integration into the team;
    • Contributes to plan of care, as well as implementation of plan;
    • Maintains a safe working environment;
    • Fosters a positive public relations with patients, families and staff.

    Requirements:

    • PHLEBOTOMY EXPERIENCE.
    • Current NY State license;
    • Able to be certified/re-certified in CPR;
    • Professional BLS.
    • Minimum of one (1) years' experience required.
    • Acute care experience at least 1 year.
    • Ambulatory experience preferred.
    • Must possess and effectively demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with patients, family members and other members of the health care team.
