JOB DESCRIPTION Provide operational /office/administrative support to the team, based out of Houston. This position involves assisting with and undertaking (but not limited to) the following tasks:
• Portfolio Management: Support with reporting software (Morningstar Office), reconciliations, and reporting • Investment Research, Management and Trading: Support all related activities • Client Administration: Prepare quarterly fee letters to clients, new clients on-boarding, client support • Office Administration: Filing (Client-related documentation, research, and other materials), sorting mail, and other office manager roles • Other: Executive Assistant to the CEO, Accounting (QuickBooks); Marketing (Support as needed)
TIME SCHEDULE • Regular Weekly Full-Time Schedule
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Base Pay: Starting Annual W2 Compensation: $55,000+ • Bonus: PLUS A VARIABLE YEAR-END BONUS • Benefits:
+ Retirement: After the first year, access to company 401k and profit sharing plans + Vacation: Paid days off per company policy + Other: HEALTH INSURANCE NOT PROVIDED—use of Affordable Care Act insurance expected, and compensation structured accordingly
DESIRED PROFILE/ REQUIREMENTS: • Required: Agreeable to background verification and checks • Required: A Bachelor’s degree (Minimum) • Required: Financial Services/ Finance/ Accounting background OR experience • Required: Strong working knowledge of EXCEL, WORD, AND POWERPOINT • Required: Ability to multi-task and stay highly organized • Required: Comfort working with numbers, strong work ethic, diligence, and good communication skills • Preferred: Ready to start ASAP • Preferred: Experience in MORNINGSTAR OFFICE and QUICKBOOKS • Other: Team player looking to grow long term with the company in the investment management industry, ability to learn quickly, grasp concepts and training materials/ manuals, investment management software and processes
