Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
• Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
• Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop educational programs and initiatives
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive student behavior
• Provide support to students with special education needs or learning disabilities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of child welfare principles and practices
• Experience in curriculum development and implementation
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to educate and engage students of different age groups
• Proficient in behavior management techniques
• Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles for toddler care, preschool, or daycare settings

Qualifications:

• 90-hour teaching certification in school -age; Infant/Toddler or Preschool.

• CPR/First aid certified.

• 9-hour communications certification.

• Previous experience as a School Teacher or in a similar role (preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
