Center Director Class 101- Irving, TX
Help DFW families crack the college code and build something meaningful while you do it!
Class 101 Irving is growing. Last year, our students nationally earned an average of $212K each in merit scholarships, with an 86% acceptance rate. We have an established team of advisors already working with families remotely. Now we need the person who will be the face of Class 101 in the Irving community — someone who can fill a room, build trust with families, and turn our local presence into something families talk about.
This is a hybrid, part-time role (~20 hrs/week) starting at $25/hour, with a clear path to full-time as the center scales. If you're looking for flexibility now but want to grow into real leadership, keep reading.
What This Role Actually Looks Like
You're the in-person energy behind our Irving center. Most of our advising team works with students remotely — your job is everything that can't happen over Zoom.
You're the one in the room. Running FAFSA nights at local high schools. Hosting workshops at the center. Sitting across from parents during consultations and helping them see what's possible for their kid.
You're the one building relationships. Connecting with school counselors, PTAs, community organizations, churches, and nonprofits across Irving and the DFW area. Becoming the person people call when a family needs college planning help.
You're the one driving growth. Generating leads, conducting family consultations, guiding parents through enrollment, and tracking it all in the CRM. You own the numbers because you own the relationships behind them.
You're the one coaching the team. Training and developing our remote advisors on service delivery, client care, and consultation quality. Leading weekly check-ins and keeping everyone aligned.
You Might Be Perfect for This If...
You've worked in admissions, school counseling, college prep, or education nonprofits — and you miss the family-facing work
You're the person who walks into a school event and knows half the room (or will by the time you leave)
You're looking for part-time flexibility right now, but you want something with real upside — not a dead end
You love coaching people and get energy from helping a team get better
You care about access — especially for first-generation college families navigating a confusing process
You're organized enough to manage events, follow-ups, and a CRM without someone standing over your shoulder
What Success Looks Like
Families in Irving know Class 101 by name. Your events have waitlists. Parents are enrolling because they trust you. Your advisors are sharper because of your coaching. And you're building the kind of momentum that turns a part-time role into a full-time career.
