    The Goddard School in Cordova is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable Part-Time Center Support Administrator to join our team.     Center Support Administrator:

    Administrative tasks: Answering and directing incoming phone calls Support the scheduling of breaks and managing end of shift ratios (faculty), record-keeping, and reporting

    Filing and organizing school records and documents

    Support the scheduling and coordination of school tours Posting updates and information to school communication platforms including parent boards, building sign, digital sign, etc. Ordering food and classroom materials for school lunch and snack program. Posting monthly calendars and announcements Updating the school website Maintaining and updating student data for DHS reporting

    Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors Assist in maintaining emergency preparedness Assist in managing the maintenance and cleanliness tasks of the facility Ensure all Goddard Quality Assurance for Administrative standards are met daily Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing regulations

    Classroom:

    Assist in classrooms and or support teachers as needed (bathroom breaks, distributing supplies, maintaining ratio, etc.) Supporting day-to-day operations to ensure compliance, safety, and high-quality programing. Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma

    Experience working in a preschool or childcare classroom setting (infants to age 5)

    Familiarity with childcare licensing requirements and DHS reporting

    Has a great attitude and friendly demeanor

    Flexible, proactive, and eager to support wherever needed

    Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities

    Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Preferred Qualities: Flexible, proactive, and eager to support wherever needed Friendly, professional demeanor with a child- and family-friendly approach Understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices.
