CCI is a project of the Tides Center. The Tides Center is a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco that works with individuals, groups, and funders to implement and accelerate positive social change in the nonprofit sector. As a project of Tides, CCI receives operational capacity, program design and grant-making support as well as opportunities for shared learning and knowledge creation with Tides' other projects and initiatives.

ABOUT THE JOB
CCI is looking for a passionate, organized and self-starting Program Coordinator to support CCI's programs focused on Human-centered Design. Human-centered design is an approach to problem solving that is rooted in understanding people's needs and experiences. In CCI's Catalyst program, our Catalysts develop expansive mindsets, combine creative and analytic methods, and push projects beyond conventional thinking to new possibilities. The Program Coordinator will be assigned to work on at least two programs within CCI's Human-centered Design portfolio. This role has a heavy emphasis on supporting the day-to-day operations of our human centered design programs and requires both an eye for detail as well as a creative spark.
This Program Coordinator role is an exempt position and will report to a Senior Manager. CCI WILL CONSIDER ALL APPLICATIONS RECEIVED BY 9 AM PACIFIC TIME ON AUGUST 6, 2021.

LOCATION
In the short-term, CCI is allowing remote work from home. Ideally the Program Coordinator is Bay Area-based long-term but candidates in other locations will be considered. Applicants from locations other than the Bay Area will be expected to travel to CCI's office in downtown Oakland a few times a year. Exact expectations for work location (i.e., remote from home and/or at the CCI office) for the Program Coordinator will be determined upon hire.
COMPENSATION
The target annual salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. Exact compensation will be determined based on a candidate's qualifications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee must have the ability to attend meetings, sitting, listening, and computer work up to 8 hours per day.
