    We are a dynamic rehabilitation team of an active subacute rehab facility serving 100+ subacute patients and LTC residents in Bennington, VT.  We do have a sister facility in Hoosick Falls, NY, and do have staff trained and licensed to work in both as needed.  We are currently looking for an independent, knowledgeable, therapist that is looking be a team player in our patient focused department at our Bennington VT facility.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interpret and follow a treatment plan set by evaluating physical therapist
    • Provide appropriate physical therapy treatment to progress patient towards their short and long term goals 
    • Measure and record residents motor function, strength and muscle performance
    • Observe residents performance during sessions and write daily session notes
    • Educate and assist residents with carrying out specific exercises
    • Collaborate with physical therapist on PT program, as well as other disciplines to optimize outcomes for patient and provide input for discharge planning
    • Communicate patient status and therapy program with patients, families and/or other staff or members of the care team.

     

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited PTA program 
    • Current PTA license (we are an easy commute from NY and MA) We can help with VT or NY licensing as well if needed 
    • Experience is always a plus
