    We have an amazing opportunity for a professional who is passionate about client care to join our team as a psychologist. Successful candidates will be able to conduct psychological assessments and testing, as well as diagnoses, recommendations, and treatment for our clinical populations who deal with adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, multi-trauma injury, chronic pain, head injury, and other mental health conditions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills are a must and will help you coordinate and collaborate care with an interdisciplinary team, case managers, and other treatment providers. Responsibilities: • Ensure that patients have proper resources by referring them to outside therapists, clinics, and other treatment facilities • Create and manage treatment plans and therapeutic procedures, as well as conduct frequent meetings or sessions to track client progress • Help identify potential illnesses related to psychological, emotional, behavioral, or organizational concerns • Perform behavioral and cognitive research through watching, interviewing, and surveying individuals • Share your research and results by writing professional articles, papers, and reports • Provide individual psychotherapy. A preference will be given to applicants who are able to work with both children and adults. • Complete documentation in a timely manner in our EHR system (Therapy Notes) • Provide brief clinical check-ins with clients receiving neurofeedback. • Participate in group clinical consultation and neurofeedback rounds. • Demonstrate reliability and consistency in carrying out the job duties. Qualifications: • Passage of the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology is required for this position • Must have a current state license to practice in the state you practice from the ASPPB (Association of State and Provincial Licensing Boards) • Previous supervised experience of 1-3 years under a licensed psychologist is required • This position requires excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills • This position requires a master’s degree and a Doctorate of Psychology (PhD, EdD, PsyD) • Possess a license (Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, LMFT) to practice in the state of Connecticut • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and skill in working within your specialty • Willingness to learn the basics of neurofeedback and how to conduct neurofeedback check-ins • Adherence to professional principles and ethical codes of conduct is essential Compensation: $40 - $50 hourly
