  • Responsibilities

    Part-time opportunity available at the Center for NeuroPotential for a dynamic Neurofeedback Technician. Seeking an individual with strong technological skills, eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a willingness to work with individuals receiving mental health services. No prior experience in neurofeedback necessary; training provided. Position entails approximately 20 hours per week, in-person only at our Branford, CT office. Minimum requirement of an Associate’s degree. Hours include afternoons and early evenings; reliability is essential. Technician will be trained in neurofeedback administration under the guidance of a clinical mental health professional. Ideal candidate should see this role as a potential career path. Clients include adults and children with various psychological and medical conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Insomnia, Learning Disorders, PTSD, and Brain Injury, as well as those seeking "peak performance" neurofeedback training. This task entails placing an EEG cap on the client's head, setting up the software program and ensuring accuracy, monitoring the session in case technical difficulties arise, and uncapping clients when done • Cleaning caps and neurofeedback rooms between patients • Interacting with patients with behavioral health concerns • Documentation in our electronic health record • Recording and uploading QEEGs to a shared folder • Administrative duties, as assigned Qualifications: • Associate degree or higher • Comfortable with technology • Strong attention to detail, highly organized • Professional, yet friendly, demeanor • Able to work collaboratively with other technicians, administrative staff, and clinicians • Responsible and reliable • Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week Compensation: $20 hourly
