We are a compassionate group practice with experienced clinicians who have a passion for helping people, particularly those with trauma. In addition to evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy, we also provide neurofeedback. Due to our excellent reputation, the Center for NeuroPotential receives referrals from physicians and other mental health clinicians from all over the state. The position is primarily in-person with limited telehealth appointments. We will train you on how to ethically and effectively provide trauma-informed therapy (including EMDR) via telehealth. Clients are highly motivated to heal. Each potential new patient is screened during a phone consultation to ensure that we are a good fit for them and that they are a good fit for the practice. Because of this screening, our clinicians have a high retention rate and can successfully treat and discharge patients. Please note, this is not a temporary or short-term position. Qualifications: • Must hold a valid license to practice psychotherapy in the state of Connecticut. • Must possess specialized knowledge and extensive experience in treating trauma. • Must be open to receiving training in evidence-based therapies, including EMDR and somatic treatments. • Must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. • Must have the ability to accurately input clinical data into electronic health record (EHR) systems. • Must have a collaborative attitude and a strong commitment to assisting trauma patients. • Must maintain a professional demeanor and uphold ethical codes of conduct. • Must possess superior proficiency in both written and verbal communication. Compensation: $35 - $45 hourly
