    SUMMARY

    The Human Resources Coordinator assists the Director for Human Resources with HR functions, such as onboarding, recruiting, tracking of employees' records and daily HR functions. This role serves as the first point of contact for HR support to employees and prospective employees and works autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintain records of personnel-related data on both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.

    Liaise with other departments or functions.

    Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates and performing backgrounds.

    Perform orientations and update records with new hires.

    Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee’s feedback.

    Responsible for supporting the Learning Management System, including troubleshooting with users, and tracking compliance.

    Support other functions as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    · High school Diploma or GED required. · BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field will be a plus · Additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

    · Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position · Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices · Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g. APS). · Ability to work with ATS software. · Ability to maintain confidentiality. · Good organizational and time management skills

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND HOURS Primarily office conditions, however local travel is required. Some work in storage areas. General working hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexible scheduling may be required. Some additional evening, early morning and weekend work may be required with this position. Flexibility in hours will be determined in consultation with supervisor.
