We live under ever-increasing pressures of working from home, social media distractions. Centered is a platform to get you into your flow state. Built on the research about the conditions needed to create flow, how to improve going forward as well. A lot of engineers got into coding because they experienced flow for the first time while coding. This app easily creates 1-2 hours of flow time daily.

In just 12 months, we raised two rounds of financing, built and launched our MacOS app, have a Windows app in beta, and iOS / Android apps on the drawing boards.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Technologies

-Server: Typescript, GraphQL

-Database: PostgreSQL

-Platform: Heroku

-Frontend: Electron, React, Apollo, Typescript, Swift

-Mobile: React-Native, Typescript

 Responsibilities

-Independently and proactively drive owned-responsibilities (features, fixes, tasks, PR reviews, etc.) to completion

-Participate in QA to ensure high quality code

-Exhibit curiosity as well as diligence in crafting code

-Provide production support as required

-Own (and improve) Release Management

-Ensure environment security, backup, and redundancy policies, standards, and strategies are developed and maintained

-Ensure highest levels of infrastructure availability

-Can oversee entire apps design from a birds eye view, identifies issues and proposes improvements, including in areas such as:

-SEO best practices incl. perf engineering

testing (unit, functional, integration)

-Analytics (clicks/conversions)

Requirements

-Minimum of 6 years of full-stack experience

Expert-level abilities with our tech stack

-Previous leadership of small, nimble teams (3-5 engineers)

-Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures

-Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required

 Qualifications

-You’re a self-starter and strong finisher

-Ideally you’ve worked at or started a small company where you had to wear many hats or have the desire to start a company yourself one day

-You write well and communicate clearly

-You prefer problems over tasks
