Centers for Neurosurgery, Spine, and Orthopedics (CNSO) is a multispecialty practice providing brain surgery, spine surgery, pain management doctors, physical therapists, hand surgery, and plastic surgery to patients throughout Northern New Jersey. Established in 2007, CNSO has office location in Hoboken, Jersey City, Paramus, Wayne, Morristown, and West Orange. Offering the highest quality of patient care and customer service, CNSO is seeking an enthusiastic marketing and sales oriented professional to promote the quality and experience of every CNSO doctor to other current and potential referring doctors plus personal injury attorneys located within the surrounding area of each office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a portion of the Northern New Jersey territory with the goal to maintain and continue to expand.
The doctors and administrative staff at CNSO are professional, kind, compassionate, and very supportive of patients and their families. They are also very supportive of each other given their strong work ethic, dedication to excellence, and eagerness to take responsibility. We are seeking someone to represent our standards to the public and to fellow healthcare professionals and attorneys.
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
Within a defined territory of Northern New Jersey, develop and maintain relationships with medical practices, doctors, and Personal Injury attorneys for referrals to any of the medical specialists in Centers for Neurosurgery, Spine, and Orthopedics. In order to achieve the goal, the process will involve organized tracking and reporting of the volume of interactions with potential and existing referrals as well as the effectiveness of the marketing efforts on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.
Efforts to increase the reach of CNSO throughout northern New Jersey would include the following:
1. Contact and develop relationships and referral patterns with other medical specialists and their practices. Schedule physician to physician meetings as necessary. Follow up will include revisiting the prospective providers’ offices on a regular basis to provide the CNSO practice updates, business cards for patient distribution, outreach information, and pertinent health care related information. Targeted relationships to be developed are listed below:
a. Internal medicine MD
b. Family medicine MD
c. Orthopedic MD
d. Pain management MD
e. Urgent care centers
f. High quality PIP attorneys
g. Chiropractors
2. Responsible for ongoing research and volume ranking of referrals, their specialty, and geographic location, name of practice and fellow doctors in their practice to monitor market penetration. Maintain an accurate interactive electronic map of where each of the specialists are located. Map also to be used for planning routes to visit and promote relationships with referral office staff and doctors.
3. Track the success of the above marketing efforts via completed patient intake documents, indicating where patients heard of CNSO or which referral, case manager, adjustor, outreach program, or lawyer sent the patient to CNSO. Also, in this report, any other marketing efforts CNSO has embarked upon, including but not limited to conventions, brochures and their locations obtained, and advertisements should be included.
4. Continually increase number of positive reviews posted on Google My Business for the providers and the practice by educating staff on WHEN and HOW to encourage patients to post a review.
5. Facebook
a. Continue to populate CNSO Facebook page
b. Drive business from our Facebook page to our website and ultimately to our office
c. Respond to all reviews
6. Phone and Email Campaign
a. Using EMR system, produce reports of patients that need follow up appoints and working with the Call Center Manager, ensure the CNSO Call Center staff contacts patient to secure follow up appointment
b. Oversee lists of surgical patient candidates and if the patient is hesitating scheduling their surgery, routinely contact the patient to encourage them to schedule their surgery.
c. Maintain and expand upon current contact list of referring medical providers, workers’ compensation case managers and adjustors, and PIP attorney
d. Routinely mass email potential referral groups (MDs, MD office Managers, PIP attorneys, WC case managers)
7. Sponsorship/booths/attendance/lectures at potential workers’ compensation, PIP attorney, medical referrals’ conferences
8. Oversee the accuracy of the Monthly Visit Volume Report: (surgery, procedure, office visits) per specialty, per insurance (commercial, contracted, WC, PIP, OON, Charity, Medicare, Medicaid).
