This position is for a Dell Networking Engineer in Boulder, CO. As a Dell Networking Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network infrastructure solutions using Dell networking equipment within DoD environments. Salary Information
The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $170,000. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline only. The many factors that are included for consideration include, but are not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education, training, certifications, key skills, and mission/customer intimacy. These factors are combined with market and business considerations to extend a job offer.

As a Dell Networking Engineer at Centil, key responsibilities include:
- Network Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed network designs and architectures based on DoD requirements, utilizing Dell networking equipment and technologies.
- Network Implementation: Plan and execute the deployment of networking solutions with a focus on Dell solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing DoD networks while maintaining high levels of performance and security.
- Configuration and Optimization: Configure, fine-tune, and optimize networking devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, to meet DoD standards and operational needs.
- Network Security: Implement robust security measures, such as access controls, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and VPNs, to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of DoD network data.
- Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum network availability.
- Network Upgrades and Expansion: Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations to accommodate the changing needs of DoD operations and technology advancements.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other IT professionals, project managers, and security specialists. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure DoD compliance standards, security guidelines, and industry best practices are adhered to during all network engineering activities.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Dell networking technologies, industry trends, and DoD network security requirements to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Dell networking solutions in DoD or similar government environments
- Strong knowledge of Dell networking products, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies
- Familiarity with DoD network security requirements, policies, and regulations, including RMF (Risk Management Framework)
- Experience with network protocols, IP routing, VLANs, QoS, MPLS, and VPN technologies
Preferred/Bonus Qualifications
- Network Certifications (Dell EMC Networking Professional (DCNP), Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+) or equivalent
- Security Certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc) or equivalent
