    This position is for a DevOps Engineer in Boulder, CO. You will be working closely with a talented team to create and secure on premise systems in the TAP Lab and in cloud-based domains and systems on C2S.     Salary Information

    The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $180,000. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline only. The many factors that are included for consideration include, but are not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education, training, certifications, key skills, and mission/customer intimacy. These factors are combined with market and business considerations to extend a job offer.


    To be considered for this role, you must hold a DoD Secret Clearance, at minimum. Additionally, you must either live near or be willing to move to the Boulder, CO area.

    Requirements

    Our ideal candidate has experience and proven successes utilizing DevSecOps frameworks and tools. A familiarity with deploying into pipelines and integrating various tools together to build pipelines is beneficial.

    As a DevOps Engineer at Centil, key responsibilities include:

    • Contribute to all phases of a system lifecycle including: design and development, integration, test, and maintenance
    • Applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
    • Correcting program errors, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions

    Required qualifications :

    • Must hold DoD Secret Clearance, at minimum
    • DoD DevSecOps and Agile principles
    • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience with related engineering experience
    • 1-3 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
    • Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments
    • Experience implementing and maintaining DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) tools.
    • Experience with Unix scripting (bash, tcsh, ksh)
    • Experience using tools, such as Git, Bitbucket, and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
    • Cloud monitoring and general cloud experience, preferably AWS
    • Demonstrated experience with security / software supply chain scanning
    • Experience with container orchestration, such as Kubernetes/RKE2/Openshift/Konvoy, etc

    Preferred/Bonus skills :

    • Log analysis/SEIM via Splunk or ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana), etc
    • General background and understanding of networking (TCP, HTTP)
    • Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification (Security+)
    • AWS certification (Developer, DevOps, Architect, etc.)
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms, like Terraform and Ansible
    • Current DoD Secret or higher Clearance
    • Certifications in AWS
    • Experience with containerization - Docker preferred
    • Familiarity and/or experience with Rancher Clusters
