Job Purpose
Our Systems Engineers work with Department of Defense contractors to assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical defense systems through classic and modern Systems Engineering techniques. Additionally, we are tasked with improving the overall project management discipline of our clients by increasing collaboration and innovation and introducing techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility in the face of unpredictable circumstances, and that optimize return on investment expenditures.
This requisition covers multiple roles focused on integration and operations for a new United States Space Force (USSF) program. These roles focus on establishing an operations center, performing integration and test of the end-to-end ground system, and supporting the launch and operations of a new satellite constellation. Responsibilities will include standard end-to-end Systems Engineering (SE) activities, including requirements definition, concept of operations (CONOPS) development, and interface control document (ICD) generation. As part of a team, responsibilities for these roles will include development of a satellite control operations center, communications networks, additional ground assets, integrating software and hardware solutions delivered by the space vehicle provider, and supporting launch, early on-orbit testing and operations of the satellite constellation. In this role, our Systems Engineers will also work within the organization to improve outcomes and overall value delivery. This person should have training and experience in Systems Engineering practices to support the mission design work, process definition, and baseline management. We consider experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) missions to be significant bonuses for this role.

Expected Salary Range
Depending on experience and skillset, most candidates will earn between $125,000 and $158,000 per year.
