OUR COMPANY
Central Atlanta Props and Sets, LLC is an Atlanta-based prop house that specializes in renting set dressing and props to the film, television, and events industry, both locally and nationally. We started as a small family business in 2014 but our operations have outgrown what we could have ever imagined and we are looking for someone who can assist in keeping our day to day operations consistent and smooth-running. Our office still has a casual small business feel despite our growth over the last few years and we're looking for a friendly and ambitious person to join our crew and grow with us!
You will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from answering phones and maintaining the general email to communicating order details with our warehouse crew and helping our clients source props they are looking for. Some of the prop inquiries may require you to walk throughout our almost 200,000 sqft warehouse to find if we have it. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, be a quick learner, and will aim to come up with innovative ideas of how to improve customer service and the workflow of this position.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL BE WORKING IN A PET-FRIENDLY OFFICE (SORRY TO THOSE WITH ALLERGIES!). WE CURRENTLY HAVE ONE FURRY RESIDENT (A CHOCOLATE LABRADOR RETRIEVER, WHO IS A SWEETHEART!)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the general email inbox: keep it organized and forward messages to the appropriate parties
Confirm customer orders via email
Coordinate and arrange order pickups/drop-offs
Communicate order details and any subsequent changes to with our warehouse crew
Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to the appropriate colleagues
Answer and respond to inquiries about our prop inventory via phone and email
Maintain the organization of order paperwork and electronic files in DropBox
Utilize office appliances such as photocopiers, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, paper etc.) and report to office manager when there are shortages
Maintain a tidy appearance in main office and break room
Perform other office duties as assigned
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma required
Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position
2+ years experience in Customer Service position
Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and DropBox
Smartphone with working camera, not required but helpful for responding to clients
Excellent communication skills
Detail-Oriented
Very good organizational and multitasking abilities
