Associate Worship Pastor - Part Time
Position Title: Associate Worship Pastor Campus: Central Support
Reports to: Lead Worship Pastor Status: Part-time (18 hours)
Position Summary:
The Associate Worship Pastor is responsible for helping to foster a healthy and thriving worship culture at Central’s designated Campus. The Associate Worship Pastor will support the vision/direction of Central Christian Church, the Creative Arts Team, and help carry out the vision of the Central Worship ministry under the direction of the Lead Worship Pastor. In addition to interviews candidates will be required to submit a video of them leading worship at a church and they will be asked to lead worship at Central for a weekend as a part of the hiring process.
This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the vision of Central Christian Church.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Vocal Team Schedule and Volunteers
Build and send out monthly schedules
Follow up with volunteers on schedule
Provide vocal notes, stage layouts, and BGV resources for weekend service
Participate in worship planning for weekend services
Provide pastoral leadership and care to the vocal team volunteers
Lead worship for weekend services
Support vision and direction of Central Christian Church
Participate in “all staff” events
Other duties as assigned
