    Position Title: Ministry Assistant Campus: Gilbert

    Reports To: Campus Pastor Status: Part-Time (28 hours)

    Position Summary: The ministry assistant is the administrative and welcoming arm for Central Christian Church. This role includes the administration of our connection request and servant minister follow up, scheduling, and general office duties. This position also ensures that people are welcomed at their first point of contact with the office, whether in person or by phone.

    This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the vision of Central Christian Church.

    Responsibilities:

    · Manage email requests from staff, volunteers, and congregation

    · Handle and resolve general questions/troubleshooting

    · Receive and resolve external inquiries

    · Enter check requests

    · Connection requests (ASL, General serving, Office Reception, Office Support, Wedding Team, Discover More)

    · Email congregation for Campus Pastors

    · Coordinate for Baptisms and Involvement Ministries

    · Enter FTG’s (periodically) and their connection requests

    · Discover More admin (Room reservations, registrations, workflow to update website each month)

    · Lead & recruit front desk and office support volunteers

    · Create monthly schedules for front desk volunteers (Mesa/Gilbert)

    · Communion order (email ACP monthly, place order, follow up w/ACP once order comes in)

    · Men’s Ministry Admin (Room reservations, registrations, workflow to update website, workflows requesting new graphics)

    · Staff meeting set up (Mesa and Tempe)

    · Special registrations (Volunteer appreciation, outreach, campus clean up, etc.)

    · Scheduling of rooms for Rooted

    · POC & Crisis Responder (Create/Email SignUp’s, update Rock)

    · Credit card reconciliations

    · Discover More (Mesa): Create/email SignUp for volunteers, alert Berwyn of headcount 5 days prior

    · Assist Campus Pastor’s with admin duties and needs (registrations, room reservations, order food, etc.)

    · General office duties such as filing, answering phones, assisting those who come into the office, ordering supplies

    · Inventory and order supplies at Mesa (breakroom, boardroom, green room, prayer rooms, office supplies, students, café, First Impressions)

    · Benevolence admin tasks (Mesa): Enter checks into Treasury Gateway, update Rock, update Benevolence Tracking Spreadsheet, update gift card log. Email spreadsheet to accounting & benevolence team at end of each week.

    · Check VM for Tempe, Queen Creek, Glendale and process as necessary

    · Admin support for prayer ministry

    As Time Allows:

    · Meet with Campus Pastors and attend campus meetings

    · Coordinate efforts to keep all records accurate and up to date in ROCK

    · Oversee distribution of communication, tools, brochures, and promotional pieces, etc.

    · Recruit and lead servant minister team that assists in office administration

    · General office duties such as filing, answering phones, assisting those who come into the office, ordering supplies

    · Reception coverage and receive and return voicemails (Glendale

    · Handle Mesa’s benevolence requests

    · Special Projects

    · Must be proficient in MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and proficient in the application of Rock.
