Job Overview
The Missions Coordinator will be primarily focused on the coordination of volunteers serving the Wholistic Impact department. They will be responsible for creating and organizing a system to on-board and track volunteer participation and level of involvement. In addition, they will be expected to maintain regular communication to and with volunteers and answer or direct any questions concerning Volunteer Opportunities.
The Missions Coordinator will also oversee the social media presence of the Wholistic Impact department at Central Christian Church. This will include a knowledge-base and creativity with popular social media applications (instagram, twitter, etc) alongside other avenues of content distribution.
Role & Responsibilities
● Create and organize a system to on-board and track volunteer participation and level of involvement
● Maintain regular communication with volunteers
● Respond or direct questions concerning Volunteer Opportunities
● Coordinate and participate in trip and event trainings
● Oversee the social media presence of the Wholistic Impact department
Qualifications
● Must have a working knowledge of content distribution with Instagram and Twitter
● Must have a working knowledge of content creation with applications such as Canva, Adobe Spark, or comparable
● 2+ years of experience in a marketing position preferred
