    Position Title: Resident Campus: All

    Reports To: Central Leadership Institute Director Status: Part-time Volunteer (20 hours)

    Position Summary:

    Each CLI Resident is placed within a ministry area to gain hands-on ministry experience for an 11th month term,

    August 21st, 2023 – July 31st, 2024.

    Each Resident will choose a specific ministry they want to develop in:

    Youth Ministry

    Young Adult Ministry

    Worship Ministry

    Children’s Ministry

    Production

    Marketing

    Campus Team

    Global Outreach

    This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the mission and vision of Central Christian Church.

    Responsibilities:

    Be onsite Monday, Wednesday, and 1 weekend day (Thursday or Sunday) for our weekend services.

    Attend CLI class time Monday’s & Wednesday’s (Monday at Mesa & Wednesday at Gilbert).

    Attend monthly 1:1’s with ministry leads, CLI director, and mentors.

    Complete all tasks and duties assigned by your ministry lead.

    Complete all module reflections, book reviews (2), and CLI reflection as assigned.

    Bring your best, be coachable, and be ready to dive in!

    Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

    Basic skills utilizing laptops, Microsoft office products, and email.

    Possess solid time management skills.

    Experience in leading or supporting events, event planning, and project management.

    Competencies:

    Proficient communication skills.

    Inter-departmental collaboration and works well with others.

    Foundational understanding of your faith and how to communicate that with others.

    Role model in personal life:

    Must align with the mission, vision, and values of Central Christian Church and be committed to doing Central no harm.

    Growing in your personal relationship with Christ, including participation in the Rooted discipleship program.

    Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the Church.

    Model biblical integrity in all things:

    Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of Central Christian Church employees, defined by the Staff Handbook.

    Financially support the vision of Central Christian Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross income.

    Be an active Owner at Central Christian Church, making every effort to uphold the mission and core values of Central.

    Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk sit; use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
