    Position Title: Ministry Admin for Foster and Adopt Ministry Campus: All

    Reports To: Executive Pastor of Campus Teams

    Position Summary: To provide support services for the Foster and Adopt Ministry of Central and to other local area staff/programs in the areas around foster care, adoption and kindship.

    This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the vision of Central Christian Church.

    Responsibilities:

    Ø Oversee the administrative responsibilities for the Foster and Adopt Ministry.

    Ø Handle correspondence and serving inquiries, keeping up to date records and files.

    Ø Support the planning and coordinating of ministry events for foster/adoptive/kinship families.

    Ø In conjunction with ministry lead, create a monthly newsletter for distribution to foster/adoptive/kinship families.

    Ø Oversee graphic creation, Rock event calendar listings and social media for ministry.

    Ø Support the coordination of meals during community groups, events as needed.

    Ø Participate in staff team huddles as available.

    Ø Able to support the ministry’s and Central’s all-hands-on-deck events, including but not limited to:

    o Christmas Eve services

    o Easter services

    o Leadership Summit

    o Mobilize and Made for More Events

    Ø Able to commit to volunteer staff position for a minimum of 1 year (continuing 10+ hrs/wk)

    Ø Attend monthly all-staff meetings as able

    Ø Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

    Ø Exceptional administrative and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent people skills including written and verbal communication.

    Ø Computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint.

    Ø Graphic design skills in Adobe Photoshop. Canva knowledge accepted, and willingness to be trained further.

    Ø High integrity including ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

    Ø Ability to multi task, adapt to changing responsibilities, and solve problems.

    Ø Ability to work independently within scope of assignment as well as cooperatively as a member of a team.
