    Central Coast Home Health and Hospice is a fast-growing and locally owned organization with an excellent reputation throughout the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. We are constantly growing and now seeking an INTAKE COORDINATOR to join our Home Health Intake team & Hospice Intake team in the San Luis Obispo office.

    Work schedule: fulltime hours, Monday through Friday 8-5

    Duties:

    • Data Entry of patient information
    • Insurance verification
    • Answer incoming phone calls
    • Assist with all day to day operations of the Hospice Intake Department

    Qualifications:

    • Must have previous work experience in a busy office environment; previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    • Able to type at least 40 wpm
    • Familiar with Microsoft programs (Outlook and Word)
    • Must be able to keep internal business information confidential and comply with HIPAA
    • Have a customer-service based approach with all interactions
    • Work well independently and in a team environment
    • High attention to detail and good follow up
