    Central Coast Hospice is a locally owned and operated organization with an excellent reputation throughout San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. We are seeking a full-time employee to join our team in our San Luis Obispo office as Volunteer Program Staff Position.

    Job Duties:

    • New volunteer user set up in company software program and assist volunteers in troubleshooting technical problems with software program
    • Visit tasking, data entry & QA for volunteer visit notes
    • Tracking volunteer matches in excel
    • Handle incoming requests and matching patients & volunteers
    • Preparation of materials for volunteer trainings, training set-up and coordination
    • Promote community outreach, awareness and marketing in order to recruit volunteers and continue growth and development of the Volunteer program
    • Creation and maintenance of volunteer files: tracking, collecting and maintaining records of all volunteer personnel and medical files
    • Notifying Volunteer Coordinators when volunteer annual reviews are due and what policies are in need of signing/updating.
    • Attending interdisciplinary team meetings when necessary
    • Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Work Schedule: Mon-Fri (30+ hours/week)

    Qualifications:

    • Previous medical office experience preferred
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
    • Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook and Word)
    • Must be able to keep internal business information confidential
